Coleg Cambria digital badges reward all learners for excellent attendance and progress, and accredit enrichment activities by demonstrating the knowledge and skills learnt to potential employers or universities.

Every full-time student will be offered the support of a Progress Coach (PC) who you will meet with termly for a one to one tutorial. They will work with you to access any support you need and to make sure you stay on track with your learning. Before the one-to-one meeting with your PC takes place, please complete Term 1 ILP via Ontrack
You will also take a literacy and numeracy WEST initial assessment at the start of your course. It is important that you understand this is not a test and you can’t pass or fail.

Eduroam (education roaming) is a free secure, wireless connection, which is availible on and off campus and across the UK
Chromebooks are used in the classroom everyday. Click the Learn how link below, or pop into your site library for tips on how to use a Chromebook.
There are a number of Window PC and Macs with specialised software available in the library and some classrooms across all sites.
To sign into a Chromebook and PC the username will always be your College email address (example firstname.lastname@example.org)
The first time you sign-in the password is the three letters on your ID card and your date of birth (example twd25/08/2002). Once signed in, you will be prompted to change your password.
The ALN/ Inclusion team are here to support learners with additional needs. The ALN/Inclusion team can provide one-to-one specialist advice and support and assess you for exam needs, to ensure you have the opportunity to reach your full potential at college. There are also sessions for learners to improve their academic skills.
The Library team provides advice on searching for resources, study skills and help using the technology at the College. The Jobshop will help you develop skills such as CV writing and interview skills. Coleg Cambria’s job shop also supports learners with job vacancies, work experience and finding a future career.
The safety and welfare of all of our learners at Coleg Cambria is very important to us. If you think you are being bullied or need help with difficulties that may or may not be related to College please contact our Safeguarding team. The Safeguarding team can also refer learners to free confidential one-to-one counselling sessions to help with any personal or mental health issues.
Finally, if you need financial advice, period products, or information on which bus to catch to college? The Student Service team are your go-to team. If you are not sure about where to get the help you need, just contact Student Services and a member of the team will point you in the right direction!
