Chaplaincy may be a word that not everyone is familiar with, but it’s very simple, chaplaincy exists to help all staff and students feel connected and valued within our College community. Chaplaincy works alongside our support teams to help make Coleg Cambria a supportive and inclusive place to learn and work. We are always looking for your ideas and suggestions about things that we could be doing better, or areas that you would like the Chaplaincy to explore.
We offer a lot of different projects and support including;
- Spiritual Wellbeing – Workshops and events looking at spirituality and identity
- Bushcraft – Exploring spirituality through forest skills and nature encounters
- Multi Faith Awareness – Interactive workshops and resources on all major world religions, including events to mark religious festivals and significant world days from Pride to Holocaust Memorial Day
- Faith Support – Including expert advice, Multi Faith and Belief Spaces, prayer support, crisis of faith support and more.
Multi Faith and Belief Spaces
Across all our sites, we provide Multi Faith and Belief Spaces for prayer, reflection, meditation, or simply taking time out in a quiet and respectful environment.
These spaces are open to all learners and staff. You do not need to follow a particular faith or belief to use them. Whether you practise a religion, identify as spiritual, or simply want a calm space to reflect, you are welcome.
Each room is designed to be simple, comfortable, and inclusive. You will find seating available, and Wudu (washing) facilities are located close to every space.
Contact Tim
To find out how to access the rooms or where they are located at your site, please contact our Lead Chaplain, Tim Feak. He will be happy to support you and explain how the spaces can be used.
