The Prevent Strategy is about protecting people from the threat of terrorism and about embedding British Values and strengthening standards on spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of students.
It is about stepping in to help vulnerable people at risk of being recruited by terrorist or extremist groups at home or abroad and safeguarding individuals and the community as a whole.
We can work together to develop resilience to extremist influences which support terrorism and together we can prevent terrorism.
Remember to:
British Values are in place to safeguard everyone and to create guidelines for self-knowledge, respect, positive contribution to society, tolerance and harmony and democracy. These are the British Values:
Democracy
Rule of the law
Respect and tolerance
Individual liberty
