Well-Being Team

Here at Coleg Cambria, the aim of the Well-Being Team is to reduce the number of young people aged 16-18 at highest risk of becoming NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training).

You can either self-refer or speak to your progress coach to request a referral via EBS. A member of the team will then arrange a meeting with you to discuss your support needs.

All Students are eligible for additional support from a member of our Well-Being Team.

121 support sessions are normally held either: face to face or via Google hangouts. Sessions aim to support students to identify their needs, personal goals and empower them to succeed.

The Well-Being Team – Can provide tailored support for the Student’s needs.
Such as;

  • Mental health concerns
  • Concerns for emotional wellbeing
  • Worries around education or progression
  • Social or transport anxieties
  • Behavioural support
  • Attendance concerns
  • Support around other issues (which the team are more than happy to discuss).

Where do the team work from? The team work within Student Services Hubs
